A very warm welcome to the Norfolk Winter blog. When it’s cold outside this is the place to visit for news and advice that will hopefully make winter a bit easier to get through.

Bad weather, shorter days and low temperatures have an impact on all of our lives. There’s a lot of information and support out there that could help, and this blog aims to tell you about it.

The Norfolk Winter blog has been set up by Norfolk County Council as part of our wider Norfolk Winter campaign but we hope to have contributions from lots of different organisations, groups and individuals – anyone who has something useful to share to help keep us happy, healthy and safe this winter.

The header photo on this blog is of Castle Acre Priory in west Norfolk and was taken by Nick Ford. You can find this beautiful photo and others, and contribute your own, to the Norfolk Winter Flickr group here.
